We’re not a staging company or a moving company — we’re the team that handles the full picture, from the first overwhelmed phone call to the day your home is ready to sell. One company. One call. Where do you operate? Heartscrabble is headquartered in Denver, Colorado and currently serves the greater Denver metro area. We’re expanding nationally through our franchise model — if we’re not in your market yet, we will be soon. Reach out and we’ll let you know when we’re coming to you.

Do I have to work with a real estate agent to hire Heartscrabble? No. We work directly with homeowners in any circumstance. Many of our clients call us before they’ve chosen an agent — that’s actually how we prefer it. When the time is right, we’ll refer you to the right agent for your situation.

What is the full scope of what Heartscrabble handles? Most companies do one piece of the home transition process. We do all of it. Decluttering and downsizing. Sorting and selling unwanted items through our consignment network. Cleaning and minor repairs. Coordinating trusted vendors — painters, handymen, movers. Professional staging. And when your home is ready, we refer you to a real estate agent who knows how to close a well-prepared listing. You don’t have to manage a roster of contractors and service providers. We do that.

What happens to items I’m not keeping? We document and photograph meaningful items and connect them with buyers through our consignment network — nothing gets discarded carelessly. What can be donated gets donated. What has value gets sold. What’s left gets handled responsibly. Our goal is a zero-waste transition where every item finds its rightful place.

Do you help coordinate repairs and cleaning before listing? Yes. Once a home is cleared and decluttered, we bring in the right people to get it into selling condition. We maintain relationships with trusted local vendors — cleaners, painters, handymen — and we manage them on your behalf. You don’t need to find, schedule, or supervise anyone. That’s our job.

Can staging really help my home sell faster? Professionally staged homes sell faster and typically attract stronger offers than unstaged properties. But Heartscrabble goes further than staging alone — by the time we stage a home, it’s already been decluttered, cleaned, and repaired. The result is a property that performs from the first showing, not just one that looks good in photos.

Do you help seniors who are downsizing? Yes — and this is work we take seriously. Downsizing from a longtime family home is one of the most emotionally and logistically complex things a person can go through. We approach every senior transition with patience, respect, and genuine care. We move at your pace, we don’t pressure decisions, and we treat every item in your home as if it matters — because it does.

Can you help my parents prepare their home for sale? Absolutely. We work with families throughout the process — including adult children coordinating a parent’s transition, sometimes from another state. We provide structured updates, clear communication, and hands-on coordination so you don’t have to manage every detail remotely. We can work directly with your parent while keeping you fully informed.

Do you work with estate properties and inherited homes? Yes. We assist families preparing inherited or estate properties for sale — organizing belongings, coordinating repairs, connecting meaningful items with buyers, and staging the home for the market. We understand that estate transitions carry emotional weight alongside the logistics, and we approach them accordingly.

Will you pressure my parent to get rid of things they’re not ready to part with? Never. Our role is to guide and offer professional recommendations, not to rush or pressure. We work collaboratively and at a pace that feels comfortable. Many of our clients have spent decades in their homes — we understand that sorting through those belongings is not just a logistical task.

Can you help if we need to move quickly due to health changes or unexpected circumstances? Yes. We understand that sometimes timelines shift suddenly. How long does the process take? It depends on the scope of the project. A straightforward pre-sale staging can be completed in days. A full downsizing and estate transition may take several weeks. We’ll give you a realistic timeline during your consultation and work backward from your target listing or move date to make sure everything lines up.

Do you require a long-term contract? No. Our services are structured around your specific project and timeline with a clear scope and expectations from the start. We’re not looking for long-term contracts — we’re looking for successful transitions.
